The #DMVBailOut is a regional arm of the National Bail Out Collective’s #FreeBlackMamas campaign. We are a collective of organizations comprised of Life After Release, Out for Justice, Baltimore Action Legal Team (BALT), and Black Lives Matter DC and many others that are organizing annual Black Mama’s Day bailouts across the DC and Baltimore metro areas to raise public consciousness about the inhumanity of money bail and pre-trial detention and end these systemic injustices that keep our people caged.
